Power company turned power off for line repairs - tv no go since

Try this. Press and hold the {MUTE} button on the remote control while plugging the power cable back into the outlet. Keep pressing the {MUTE} button until the TV powers on with the Service Menu displayed. Use the {CH+} {CH-} buttons to select menus. Step Press the "Reset" key a second time to reset your Sanyo television and restore its factory settings.

the tv need for servicing, the cause is either bad regulator transistor in the power supply section or shorted horizontal output transistor. that is why the main circuit board doesn't get to turn on. to do the repair just ensure you have knowledge in repairing tv.

There is no reset button
The hard reset process is to disconnect power for 1 hour then reconnect

Unplug the set and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Plug it back in and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't then it sounds like there is a problem on the board underneath the power button. Something isn't allowing the circuit to be cut.

Sanyo is cheaply made TV, but then again, most LCD TV last about 2~3 years before breaking down.
You need to check out the power supply and the inverter board.
