I hadn't used it in awhile when i pulled it out of the closet battires were dead. put new batt in nothing happens
Hello, never leave batteries in any electronic devise. Check the battery compartment for leaky batteries corrosive residue. Now, if the contact are corroded you'll need clean with small bass brush on a dermel drill or anyway you have. Also check where wires are connected and take very good look at the wires where the solder joints are. Batteries, especially Alkalide and some of the other types will have some - protential in a open loop. In other words, batteries will leak small amount of current in the existing wire and other components. Make it simple here. Everything that some sort of battery potential on it will act like a transmission line, releasen free electron...
Also,use some Radio Shack contact cleaner on the switches, and if the switches have any electron protential on them, they to will have some sort of corrosion. stewbison
