After completing a cycle the top drawer feels like it will not open or the top of the drawer has fallen down. I've since forced it open but, now it feels like it will not close. I did not force it to close. How do I remedy this problem?

SOURCE: fisher paykel - dishwasher - 2 drawer dd603i - top of dishwasher loose

The dishwasher while running began to beep constantly and then BOTH drawers began to beep with blue lights and read F1 with the small picture of a wrench. It will not turn off but keeps beeping with flashing lights.

SOURCE: fisher & paykel top drawer stuck again

Sounds like the lid is not opening all the way. Rubber may be coming off lid seal during opening and closing. Check you lid actuators replace both right and left if needed.

SOURCE: Top drawer obstruction, can not close.

Pull out the drawer.at the bottom near the front panel at both sides, press the square tabs in and pull the drawer further. When you have the clearance from the edge of the drawer, lift it up out of the rails then put it down to floor. It may not be the hose. I think the top lid seal is sagging down causing the resistance. If this is a case, you need to replaces both actuators to lift up and down the lid to overcome this problem.
Good luck.

SOURCE: I have a F & P Double Drawer. The top drawer

If none of the lights on the top drawer are on and it is not responding to the switches then the controller has lost power. This in turn has caused the lid seal motors to freeze and hence the reason why the drawer movement is stiff.

Controller power is lost if the thermal fuse located in the heater assembly is blown. This is a safety mechanism to protect the dishwasher if the temperature goes too high. Sometimes it can also mean the thermostat became faulty causing the heater to overheat.

In order to restore the controller power the heater assembly needs to be replaced as the thermal fuse is integral to it. This part looks like this.
Once the power is restored to the controller then it will pull the lid motors back unless these are out of position which means the seal has to be opened and the motors repositioned.

Let me know if you want to fix this yourself or call the technician. I can give you some idea of how to access the heater assembly etc but it is not a trivial task to replace. The drawer is very compact and requires a fair bit of effort and patience to repair

Sharp CD-BA2100 cd drawer won't turn or close.

Take the 4 screws out of the top, lift the CD drawer out, disconnect the two wire harnesses, take the top off, lift the 3 disc tray out, then force the drawer open and closed a few times until it slides freely. Put it back together and it may or may not work. Worked for me.

Dishwasher beeps but won't run

There could be several reasons for the beeping. The dishwasher checks for sensor to make sure it is in good health before it starts. Most likely the drawer close sensor is detecting fault. This is to ensure the drawer is closed fully to avoid water leaks when dishwasher is on. Sometimes sensor itself has failed and has nothing to do with position of drawer. Open top cover carefully to make sure the drawer is travelling ok on the rails. TAKE MAINS POWER CABLE OUT BEFORE WORKING ON DISHWASHER.

Why won't my top drawer start

I am assuming you have a double drawer unit DD603. A drawer will not respond when you press Start button for several reasons. Assuming the panel lights are on, there could be a problem with the lid seal motor or the sensor that detects drawer is closed or blocked outlet hose or dirty panel. Take a damp clean cloth and wipe the inside of the drawer door panel. The dishwasher is very smart and checks for the condition of the dishwasher before starting. If turning off the mains power and turning it back on does not change the situation you will need a technician to attend to it.

POT AND PAN DRAWER WON'T CLOSE PROPERLY

Take out the drawer. Lift it out. Make sure nothing is in the tracks. Take everything out of the drawer. Put it back and watch the tracks. If it closes properly you've over loaded it, otherwise you have bad tracks.

Washer detergent drawer will not open...drawer lock or detergent cup?

Something has jammed the drawer closed. You will need to access the top of the dispenser.
Remove the 2 screws holding the top lid in back. Slide the top lid rearward and remove.
Pry open the top of the dispenser top and using a small screwdriver, unsnap the lid snaps.
This will release the drawer and you can clean out any debris that caused it to jam up.
Good luck.
