Even with new batteries, it does not pick up the radio signal to set it. Does pick up temperature signal and shows outside temp.
SOURCE: my clock is nort showing up the outside tempertute
Seems to be a consistent problem with Skyscan. I have the 88800 model and my outdoor transmitter isn't transmitting the temperature either. We've replaced the batteries in both the transmitter and clock and nothing for outdoor temp. It's only been used for 9 months.
SOURCE: skyscan digital wall clock just quit showing outside temperature
you probably need to 'pair' the outdoor sensor with the main base: look for a 'channel' button, as these units usually can get information from several sensors and differentiate them by a channel number.

hello lucy... you most likely have some corrosion in the outdoor component. Remove the batteries from the outdoor component and clean the battery contacts with the eraser end of a common pencil. Reinstall the batteries and then give it up to 8 hours to start reporting accurately again. Joe
Thanks for choosing Fixya!
The SkyScan ATOMIC Clock
With the Skyscan Atomic Clock, you have the most accurate timepiece within the continent. It can receive the time signal transmitted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), which is regulated by 3 atomic clocks and deviates less than 1 second within 3,000 years. The NIST broadcasts the time signal (WWVB, 60kHz) continuously from Fort Collins, Colorado. This signal can be received anywhere in the continental USA that long wave (AM) radio reception is possible with a portable radio. It is expected that the signal can cover a distance of over 2,000 miles from the transmitter. Therefore, your clock will receive the signal within the broadcast range anywhere an AM signal can be received; generally the signal cannot be picked up in massive metal and concrete structures unless near a window. In addition, some environmental effects (see next page) may affect the transmitting distance.

Please note, it IS picking up the temperature signal, NOT THE TIME signal from WWV.
Is there a RESET button on this thing? I can't find it. Changed batteries, no avail. Clock runs, if you set it manualy. Just doesn't pick up time signall from Atomic Clock Source ...
