Computer Keeps Rebooting - cannot access Safe Mode
1. Boot up with Windows installation CD 2. It will give you the option to use RECOVERY CONSOLE 3. Type chkdsk to check disk - this fixes bad blocks and moves data to another area. 4. When completed, remove Windows installation CD and reboot computer

Hello, seems like your sleep mode doesent work as it should. Try to download all windows updates and look for a fix on microsoft sites.
But the best solution is to inactive the sleep mode setting and use the Hibernate options(if you want a fast start) but I suggest that you turn off windows with shutdown, its the safest and best way to have your computer to work properly.
To inactivate sleep mode.
windows xp
go control panel and power options
Change the system standby to never.
also choose power schemes battery, and change the system standby to never.
also the harddisk to never.
This should solve your problem.
To activate Hibernate you need to click on hibernate tab and bock the square.
hibernate= saves all your work to harddrive to restart your computer where you left off.
sleep mode= saves your work to RAM memory=takes a little bit energy.
Testimonial: "already, my computer is not freezing:) thanks for the tip."

First, remove the Battery Pack from the Notebook and reinsert it after an hour.
Also, press the F8 Key on the Keyboard while turning ON the Computer.
Next, please select "Last Known good Configuration" from the menu.
Ensure that the Booting Priority is set to HDD in the BIOS Settings and also turn OFF the Quick Boot feature. This should resolve the issue.
