A week or so ago our power went out when i was using my computer. My computer restarted but the monitor, mouse, and keyboard didnt turn back on. Once in a blue moon if I turn my computer on it work's but it hasnt for about 3 or 4 days now. I do have my computer plugged into a surge protector so I'm not sure what happened or what to do about it! please help!
Well, when my emachine did this, I was informed the "power toggle" was "gone" and that basically it would cost more to fix than to replace. I suggest you have this looked at as I suspect you will be given similar information.

I forgot to add that I can turn my CPU on anytime. That part will power up but the monitor, mouse and keyboard will not.
That is very strange. Have you tried unplugging everything, turning on the computer, letting it run about 20 minutes, pressing the power button once to shut it down, plugging everything back in, then powering on the computer?
It's possible that it will, "unlock" the system. A CMOS reset might also be helpful.
