Is the butt tap necessary for the military wedding sword ceremony?

Absolutely NOT. I told my sword bearers that if they did the but tap i would bury their sword up theirs. They didn't and we had a great time.
There is a tradition of cutting the cake with the sword.

I want a 16 pc Christmas dinnerware set $50.00 or under

Walmart already has the cheapest that seems good enough for company but will cost $100 for two 8 service sets. You could try a restaurant supply or a dollar store to get cheaper sets but they look and feel cheap too. I was at a Canadian dollar store yesterday and they had the nicest silver or chrome looking wedding cake utensils, they are entirely plastic but look very good. I think they have other plastic flatware sets that look good too.
