Ringer delay i m experiencing ringer delay with my motorola rokr e8. normally it takes 5-6 ringer delay time means i can hear a ring after the caller hear it for 5-6 times and same with the caller id appearance. 90 percent of my call are missed calls. can u help?

Press program/mute button to confirm and you may program the following items: Set Language, Handset Name, Ringer Tone, Ringer Volume, Message Alert, Ring To Answer, Security Code, VIP Melody, Key Tone, Audio Predial, Vibrate Ringer, Area Code, Tone/Pulse, Registration, Deregistration and Default Setting.
Ringer Volume
From the Handset Setup Menu:1. Press the caller ID-volume ( 6 or 5) button to scroll to the RINGER VOLUME sub-menu.
2. Press program/mute button to enter the menu. SET RINGER 1HI 2LOW 3OFF shows in the display.
3. Use the touch tone pad on the handset to select 1, 2or 3, or use the caller ID-volume ( 6 or 5) button to scroll to your selection. HI is the default setting.
4. Press the program/mute button to save your selection. You will hear a confirmation tone and the new volume setting shows in the display.
NOTE: If you turn the ringer OFF, the ringer off icon shows in the display.

a. Make sure your ringer is not in vibrate mode.
1. Press Menu > Settings/Tools > Settings > Sounds > Ringer Type > Voice Calls. 2. Select Caller IDor No Caller ID. (A list of ring type categories will be displayed.) 3. Select a category, and then use your navigation key to scroll through the available ringers. A sample ringer will sound as you highlight each option. 4. Press OK to assign a ringer.
b. Make sure your speaker works. Turn On your speaker phone while talking to someone and see whether you can hear or not.
c.Make sure the increase the volume using keys on side of your phone.

Hi, what makes the ringing of the phone to be quite to hear is because the ringer that makes you hear when the phone rings is getting weak and it needs to be replaced.

When you replace the ringer the phone will ring better again.

I have a Nokia XpressMusic 5130c2 phone. When someone calls me there is music that they are hearing instead of a ringer tone. How can I remove this & just for my incoming callers to get a normal ringer tone? Thanks

you can try reseting your phone,but this phone is naturally slow...

The power switch for the Motorola Rockr E8 is on the little silver switch on the right side of the phone. If you push the switch up it locks the phone. Pushing it down unlocks the phone. But if you push it down and hold it there for a little while the phone will turn off. Just hold it down again to turn it back on.

1. Go to 'setup'. SELECT IT.
2. It has the first option as 'Ringer Alert Style'. SELECT THAT.
3. You will find type of alert styles like: Ring Loud / Ring Soft / Vibe and Rig Loud etc.
4. Select the ringer type you use (You will not get any ringtones on silent or vibrate mode).
5. Select Edit. You will now find options of ringtones.
