Question about Tomtom One Europe v2 GPS Receiver
Posted by Anonymous on
It "might" be that your tomtom has lost its position due to you moving countries. the TomTom stores its last position so each time you switch it off then on again it can find the satellites it had before quickly. Because you have moved a long way ( on the aeroplane ) the TomTom now thinks you are still in America so it's looking for the satelittes over America rather than over the UK.
I would try this :

1 Change Preference
2 Warn When Near POI
3 Choose Your Red Light Camera POI
4. Set how many yards from it you want to be warned.

SOURCE: TOM TOM GPS Updates
That depends on where you got it and if the documentation for the updates was in the box.
Usually the answer is yes.
Those from Tiger Direct do.
I have used it before now with few problems.
Couple of times I have had to talk to them but they have always been good and given me a code or new code to get the updates.
