I need a windows 2000 disk to reboot my toshiba satellite 4090xcdt lap top can any one help

You computer was set up to use a modem to access the internet.

You computer does not have USB, so you cannot use Wi-Fi.

You need to purchase a 2 x PC Card Type II or 1 x PC Card Type III Ethernet card. Then you can plug a Ethernet cable into the ADSL router.

First - re-seat the harddisk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot andgo into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If itdoesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty.Then the hard drive needsto be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer orlaptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioningcomputer/laptop again.

I have toshiba laptop satalite with 2 operation windows 2000 and HP windows running thus slowing the system down consiradably. Idealy would like to delete the windows 2000 professinal. Please help

no support for win95 these days, easier to remove the drive and use the ide adapter to plug into another computer and format it

Reboot. I assume you're talking about Windows Updates. They get corrupt sometimes. Reboot, run the updates again and if they don't work research the error message on Google.
