CAPS LOCK INDICATOR ON ACER ASPIRE 4349-2402 DOES NOT WORK

There is usually a small indicator light for the caps lock and number lock just above the keyboard.

Try updating your bios and drivers. Download them from the Acer site.

Does the caps lock still work? Could just be the diode

This is a very strange one ..I never heard before ..but I think it is a windows error and can be fixed by reinstalling the windows from the recovery partition .To engage it ..look on screen at start cause teh key is indicated and if you press the key for recovery it will show the start screen ..choose to reinstall the system completely with drivers ..or install the drivers after from the same place .. remember to move personal files into D drive before doing ..cause all files in C drive will be deleted ..

the model does not have an indicator light. some pcs that dont have a default popup that indicates your caps are on or off. unfortunately ACER isnt one of them.

some times it shows in the screen if u ON or OFF the caps lock

On the keyboard, there should be an area to the right top that will light up when you click the caps lock button. Typically this key is found above the shift key on the left hand side of the keyboard.
