Songs Will Not Show Up In Zen Nano Plus

I have a 1GB zen nano plus that has about 100MB of space left. However, when I add songs they will not show up anywhere in the player, unless I add them to the Root folder. Songs that I already have on there do show up even though they are arranged into subfolders. Any help regarding this would be much appreciated.

Sory i mean songs will not show up anymore if they're in subfolders but if they're in "root" they do.

Try hitting the 'reset' button and it should work. That's how I got mine fixed. Good luck and I hope it works for you.

Peace.

The guide for Zen nano plus:
http://files2.europe.creative.com/manualdn/Manuals/TSD/8899/0xBA9C626B/Zen%20Nano%20Plus%20Quick%20Start%20Multilingual.pdf
It seems that pauzes between the tracks do not seperate them into
split up songs onto the player.

Support for Zen nano plus on this site:
http://support.creative.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?catID=213&subCatID=214&prodID=12720&prodName=ZEN%20Nano%20Plus&subCatName=ZEN&CatName=MP3+Players
You can rip audio CD using:
1. "application software" (getting a download from the support site) or
2. Windows Media Player 10 or 11 (WMP11 preferred).****
2.1 ****When making connection with the correct database,
songs will get the corresponding MP3 tags / names.

Will not accept more songs or convert from wma to mp3

Have you tried backing up all the songs and re-formatting the player? This sounds like it could be a filesystem problem...

Or you could check for a firmware upgrade. That's what fixed mine when it wouldn't play mp3s; a new firmware might have a bugfix for your problem. Firmware is available at:

Creative Zen Nano Plus FROZEN!!!

here is a fix if your creative zen nano plus just hang on the creative logo when you turn your player on.
download, Creative ZEN Nano Plus firmware.
you can find it at the creative website, download section.
double click the file you just dl'ed, now make sure your
zen nano player is already connected to your pc when you run the file. it may take a bit of time before your pc can detect your zen nano be patient, a window prompt will soon appear asking if you want to update your firmware with the one youve just dl'ed.
now, dont worry if the firmware is the same as the one already
installed in your zen nano, just continue with the update.
you can also check the box in which there is the option of also formatting the drive. ( note: all files in your zen nano will be lost)
after the firmware is flashed you can now play and transfer files to your zen nano plus.

My mp3 won't start.

Recommend you take a look at this Creative MP3 PLayers FAQ site, it has a lot of info. BTW, I have the Nano (but not Plus) and I think the reset-switch hole they refer to is next to the USB connector on mine. http://forums.creative.com/creativelabs/board/message?board.id=dap&message.id=24175
