SOURCE: The folding deployment clasp on the bracelet/strap

The newer straps on TAG are generally wider than the professional series and the cost of a new genuine TAG heuer clasp or bracelet may easily exceed the costof buying an entire watch of that series used.
I recommend searching for an after-market strap/ buckle usuing your case back numbers as the search criteria.

The clasp on my steel watchband pulls away from the band creating a large gap. it looks bad and catches on things. what do i do?

You need to make sure that if you had the watch band adjusted they did not adjust it at the clasp. When you adjust the watchband links should be removed if you adjust it at the clasp the band keeps pulling open. When you open the clasp fully make sure the pins are on the end holes. If the pins are in the end holes then, the clasp is probably sprung somehow and you will need a new one or have a jeweler or watch repairman fix it! You may also be able to order a new clasp from manufacturer! Hope this helps!!

Other than removing links, can I make smaller adjustments to the band on my Omega seamster limited edition?

mcdevito75 here, You should right at the clasp, simply remove the pin and move the entire band up thru the other adjustment holes you see along side the clasp itself. If there aren"t any additional holes along side of the clasp for the band to move up closer to the clasp lock, then no other adjustments can be made.

Unclear as to how you adjust the rubber band strap

  1. Remove the deployant clasp from the watchband. The clasp is attached using spring bars on each end of the clasp. The method of spring bar removal varies but is usually performed by pushing a small pointed tool (one end of a spring bar tool) into a hole at the end of the clasp. While depressing the spring rod, pull the buckle away from the bracelet to detach. Repeat this for both sides of the buckle.
  2. Step 2 Measure the watchband to determine proper sizing. Use the scissors to cut along the inner grooves to remove needed sections (each section of the rubber will contain a new set of holes for the bracelet spring bars). Cut carefully and conservatively, as this step cannot be undone.
  3. Step 3 Reattach the buckle to the band after resizing. Reverse Step 1, pushing the spring bar in while sliding the buckle back into place.
jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); });

The folding deployment clasp on the bracelet/strap for my Tag 1000 series ladies watch has broken. Might a replacement clasp from any of the current tag models fit?

Mens Versace leather strap. How do I adjust the band ? The watch has a cream face, square in shape, chronograph with a brown elather strap. Clip requires adjusting and cant work out how to adjust..

Well i am going to roll the dice and assume you have one of the ez clasps but if I am wrong you can send the model number and we will figure it out.

To adjust the ez clasp pull up on the front of the clasp loop while pushing down on the band. Rather than the traditional buckle and prong set up, the prong here is underneath the clasp loop.

Hope this helps. Thanks!

I need to adjust a Casio AMW320rd-1A9 STAINLESS WATCH BAND. ADVISE PLEASE

This band is put together with cotter pins. To remove the cotter pins look at the edge of the band. The end of the pin that comes out is split and looks like a screw. The end that is solid is the end you want to push from. Use a small punch to push the pin out. The split end is the bigger end of the cotter pin so it needs to come out and go back in the same way it came out. Make sure you remove an even number of links on each side so the watch sits on the wrist the right way. You also have a micro adjustment on the clasp. To adjust the clasp simply use a punch to press the spring bar in the clasp in until it moves. This is a spring bar so be careful it doesnt jump out if the clasp comes apart.

Kennith cole reaction watch

try to change your settings of your clock by getting it full circle to get back to real time and see what happens. if still problem persist then you might send it to repair service or it should have warranty service for an expensive watch. hope that helps!

I cant open my brand new watch ...HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

I just recieved a Moldavo Men's Junior Sport (Model # 0605105 with certificate of authenticity) as an award -- but the instructions didn't bother explaining how to put the watch on!

For any hidden clasp band, see this web page (excerpt below):
http://www.worldofwatches.com/cust/sizingwatch.asp?d=0

Refer to the "Hidden Clasp" diagram and follow the instructions under the diagram:

cad9c3e.jpg To open this clasp, reach under the bracelet band and lift upwards. The band extends to allow for easy removal.
