I am having problem with this device -Cd Room no Work

You didn't provide any details on what OS you are running or trying to load, but here are some steps to verify.
1. Ensure that the procedures you used to create your bootable USB device or bootable CD are correct. These will not boot unless they have a boot loader installed properly on them.
2. While running your existing system, ensure that you can actually view the files on your USB device or CD (in case either device is not actually working).
3. Ensure that the BIOS settings set the boot priority to USB or CD ahead of the hard drive.

Does your laptop has CD room? if yes try to check at device manager

click start > run > type "devmgmt.msc" check is there's warning.

if you see your cd room. right click and uninstall.

afterwards click "action" scan for hardware changes.

If nothing happens buy or borrow cd room external.

If you need the device-drivers for your Kodak printer, then access the 'www.kodak.com' web-site, and select and download the device-drivers for your model of printer and your Operating System.

Is this device showing in Device manager if so try Nero burning room for writing .Also try checking by reading a normal CD

have you check driver of the dvd room,on control panel click,click system,click hardware,click device manager,on device maneger click cd/dvd coom,then left click your cd room,click properties check driver,if no driver update,or if you have cd installer
install the driver.have a nice day

uninstall the cd rom firmware from the device manager and install the new one that you have

goto the device manger and find the cd rom on the list and right click it and do a update on the drivers this might help

I am assuming that the printer is USB so the printer will not work without the drivers installed.
Could you please list what model the printer is?

There are a couple of solutions to look at for this.

First would be to determine with drive is actually your CD ROM drive. I would try putting an normal audio CD into the drive and looking through the drives listed to see whch one says "audio CD" That would tell you which letter you need to go into to run the install CD for your printer.

The second would be not to use the CD at all and just download the newest software from the manufactures site (assuming you have an internet connection) usually you would go to the manufactures website and try to find a support or help section. Many times they then have an area where you can specify you product and what you need, you follow that and find the software and/or drivers for your model printer.

or try to used the cd in other dvd room and saved it to the flash drive
and then install it!!!!
