I ran into a similar problem. After taking my T-100 out of the box, I left it on charge overnight. The specs on this camcorder state it takes 4 hours to fully charge, so it should have been sufficient, however, when I turned the camera on, my battery level on showed two out of three power bars. I checked at the SVP website (
www.svpcam.com) and found there was a firmware upgrade available for the battery meter. You can find instructions and a link to the firmware file here: (

They don't do a fantastic job of explaining what the patch fixes, but I found the above referenced link titled T-100 battery firmware, and it redirected me to the page for instructions. I followed the instructions (again, just to reiterate - the instructions display as "Instruction (SD card or MMC card)" not "Battery Firmware for T-100" (like it should). After formating my SD card, downloading the file to the SD card, and holding buttons, etc., my battery level indicator shows that I have a full charge.
I've seen dozens of inquiries along the lines of charging the battery and there were no responses. I hope this resolves your problem so you can enjoy such a neat little gadget. We absolutely love ours. Best of luck.
