You can try this simple idea; to re-code the remote to your unit, press and hold 1 and ENTER/OK buttons together for 5 - 10 seconds, then release. This worked for me...

If you go into the main menu under Setup --> Guide Setup --> Set Auto-Tune to "YES".

now the channel will change without the 3 digit requirement.
