Well maybe a power surge happened last night.
Is the computer plugged into a power protector? If not maybe something got fried.
Check for the smell of burnt components. It smells like burning plastic kind of. If everything looks fine make sure everything is plugged in tightly like the power cord and hard drives etc.
Hope this helped.
Sounds like your Power supply (the box inside your pc) is broken.
How old is this computers power supply?
Try putting a new one in. ( You dont have to buy a new one just use one that works from another pc. I think we all know how expensive computer parts can be.)
I hope this helps

Is their something I missed? I am curious as to why you have me such a low rating. I am glad you at least rated me but I have given an exact answer to your problem and if that did not help you could have told me and I would have continued to help you. I do not by any means mean to sound offensive or rude. But then again I did the best I could to pin-point the problem and have done so.
Hope this helped
