Are you trying to remove the BIOS password on your Toshiba?
If so try this :-
You need to build a hardware device that plugs into the printer port.
Get a 25 pin male D sub connector, and solder various wires
to the pins numbered below. The pins on the connector are numbered 1 to 25
For a picture of this hardware device (dongle) go to :-
http://www.tilman.de/sonstiges/toshiba/dongle1.jpg Connect these pins together by soldering thin insulated wires to the following pins :-
1-5-10,
2-11,
3-17,
4-12,
6-16,
7-13,
8-14,
9-15
Plug the dongle in the printer port and boot up the laptop, you will then be able to bypass the BIOS password and go into the BIOS to reset/remove the password.
