I don't know how to set the clock

If you follow this link it will take you to clock settings on page 20. It will be easier than me trying to send it all here. May be an idea to print the whole manual off really?

I just purchased front speakers for my jvc kd-sx770. the connection to the previous fronts were cut by the previous owner of the car. i cannot find a wire diagram and just need to know what colors to...

front left negitive, white with black stripe front left positive, white
front right negitive, grey with black stripe front right positive, grey

Jvc kd-sx770 car stereo--radio works, but cd player doesn't

Hello beeswing70,

The player is recognizing that a CD has been inserted but is not able to read it.

Sometimes the lens assembly becomes contaminated and obscures the laser. I'd try using a commercial "lens cleaning CD" two or three times and then try a CD again. These lens cleaning CD's are widely available. If cleaning does not help, the player need professional service.

No audio output from jvc cd receiver kd-sx770

The internal amplifier is at fault.

This will need to be repaired by a electronics repairman.
There is no end-user fix.

You may choose to, instead, use the RCA low level outputs and install a dedicated amplifier to power your speakers.

Verify the fuses on the radio are good, and that there is not a blown speaker causing the internal amplifier to shut down.

Per manual, you can lock a cd in by pressing and holding the power and cd button for moer than 2 secondsthe cd cannot be ejected. if acd is inserted upside down, please -eject appears.
