NO Picture! NO POWER! NO NOTHING! ILO 27' LCD

My 27 inch just recently stopped working. I noticed a problem with it about 3 months ago when i would try to turn it on and nothing would happen. I would then unplug it and then plug it back in and then it would come on. But for the past week that doesn't even work and it want power on or do anything at all now. Somebody let contact me if you know how to resovle the problem.

The way to resolve the problem would be by replacing or repairing the power supply. If the TV does not power ON, needs to be unplug to make it work; those are symptoms of a dying or defective power supply.

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

Ilo tv quit - will not turn on
The Problem is with the Capasiters in the power supply bord a total of 9 caps have to be replaced the power supply bord is the one on the right side of the tv in the back where the power cable enters the caps values are 35 volt 1000uf x2 35 volt 470uf x3 16 volt 1000uf x3 and 16 volt 470uf x1 after replaceing thses caps the tv will work like new... i hope this helps.

Horizontal Line through middle of TV screen
That sounds like simple ring-cracks in the vertical circuit, most likely the vertical Ic itself... On the printed circuit side of the Tv look at the vertical Ic and examine it carefully under some magnification where each pin of the Ic solders to the board. See if you can find any cracks in those solder connections.

the most common item that fails with all LCDs is the power invertor or power supply, and that sounds like what your set is needing is the capacitors have possibly failed on the Invertor

Infrared light out, power light out
notice if your buttons on the tv work properly. sometimes the curcit board that holds the lights,ir ect, falls off from inside and then they cant be seen or work
