Internet connection my internet for the ps3 keps on going when i go on cod5 every match i get timed out ive turned the ps3 of an on and my connection goes again

Has something to do with your connection dropping. Check to make sure your internet is still working is your first step. If so is your PS3 connect to WiFi or is it connected via Ethernet cable? If it is WiFi then, i would reset the router e.g. Turn your computer off, and your router, disconnect router for about 30 seconds. Also make sure your PS3 is turned off at this time as well. Then go ahead and power up your router and computer. Check internet on computer make sure its working. If it is then power up your PS3 and attempt to reconnect.

Try turning off your console and turning it back on- that's what I did. Are you using a wireless adapter? If so, then it may have trouble connecting. Try moving it to an area closer to your router. Also, the cod5 servers **** lol, so it may clear up in time. If you haven't checked already, make sure his game isn't full.

most likely your ps3 or ya graphics.ya ps3 eye must be realy damaged and can read only those games.i got those same games cod4 and cod5 it could also be tyranch the company who made the realy gory and bloody kills for cod5 ive heard some tyranch games do damage to ya ps3!

Just go into game data and delete COD5, then play the disc again and it will install again.
Don't delete any games saves, ONLY game data.

Are you connected wirelessly or wired?

this happened quite a lot with my cod5 to i just reset my ps3 cleared the dust from the fans then turned back on 5 mins after and it was fine but i got sick of doing this 3 times a week so i sold cod5 and stuck with cod4

try a system update for via internet and via Meadia storage

I believe you have to update your ps3's system firmware.

gucciskills, this is a common problem if you have other people using your home internet connection at the same time. I have that problem every now and then even with no one on the home PC. It just means you are losing your connection. Try and reconfigure your router setting and see if that helps.
