My Zenith 52 inch flat screen will automatically shut off after 1-2 mins of turning it on... why?

This is a DLP tv wright?Problems with many DLP tvs after changing the tv projection lamp,tvs still have the same problems or make alots of cliking sound too.The board that call the Ballast baord is also is dead.The Ballast board only job is to ignite the tv projection lamp.

Possibility Fan Cooler Issue Check at the back if your hear the fan going if not your fan cooler is burn out .... The Thermistor will shut off the TV automaticly to the unit for Over Heat

I had this same problem. The Zenith rep told me to unplug the TV, hold the power button down for 30 seconds, plug it back in and then turn it on. It worked and I haven't had a problem with it since. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

Still sounds like a power supply issue would it still be under repairers warranty

after an hour tv shuts off and you have to wait to turn it back on

Bulb must be replaced before viewing will continue.

try turning off the auto shut off feature in you set up screens . you can find them through the menu button on your remote. scroll through till you find it and turn it off.

Bad Light engine cost was 1900.00 sure it is cheaper now.call UED 1-800-648-6657 for replacement cost.

the processor on this et will shut this set down for number of reasons. a technician should be albel to read error codes form the processor to help deterine whatt is cause the shutdown
