My graphics card crashes every time I play a game, black screen, and then stop error, no blue screen though. It didn't crash before.
Hello try to renew the graphic driver from here:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
By selecting the model, and your windows system.
You can also use the auto find function.
By installing a small bit of software.
Maybe your power supply is too small for gaming performance
consider to upgrade that, if the driver update does not work.
I suggest a 500 watt PSU, so the graphic does not runs out of power.
Good luck

Hi slstoflmy, PNY warrants their graphics card (Your model, 6600GT) for three years. See PNY's link below;
http://www.pny.com/products/verto/mainstream/6600gtpcie.asp
Scroll to the bottom of the page for warranty info.
If your PNY is no longer in warranty, suggest you buy new. Prices drop every 6 months or less. Take a look at the next link.
XFX warrants for life!

Good luck slstoflmy!

SOURCE: Video Card PNY VERTO GEFORCE 8400 GS stop working
adcg,
the world of war craft is played online through servers, not just on your computer. the version is needed to see if there are issues with your video card, Do you have XP home or XP pro?
you have more than 1 mb of ram
at this point I am going to say that you have issues with the video card take it back and get an ATI to replace it, they are better and have less issues.
you could also be having an overheat problem with the CPU and that means you need a new heat sink and fan assembly to keep the CPU cooler when you are running this game.
That is about all the help I can give you , my advice is to take the computer to a service center and have them look at the CPU heat sink and fan assembly to see if it is working properly.
hope this helps
