Preview option does not work.

Save the pictures you have taken to your computer, and then choose the Format Card option. You have to Format the Card to make your camera work. If this does not work, contact the Camera's company web site and ask them for advice

have you formatted the memory card before usuing it? if the camera has the function, try formatting the memory card in the camera with its own option. if that doesn't work, try a different card. if it has its own internal memory, can you take more than 3 pictures, and if so, does it still freeze without using a card? it sounds as if the camera could be having problems writing the photos to the card. you could also try formatting the card on your pc and see if that helps. if you still have the same problem after these steps, it may be an internal problem with the cameras system and how it saves.

hit menu button will show u videos and also pics u took when u hit it few times then push button click it and arrows right and left to preview ,maybe u will have to take memory card off and then do what i said above might be the pictures on camera it self not on memory

Choose Yes and press ok. This will clear the write protect message and the card can be used again.

You may try some photo recovery software to rescue the files on your Olympus camera, here are some for your options.

Be careful: Before your pictures are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the memory card in case the original files(your pictures) are overwritten.

format by going to option while in shot pic mode , first press ok then option, set-up go down to format and after should be working.

when i switch mode to playback/preview it doesnt work so i cant view pics that are taken or can i upload them to my pc.

The only solution left is to get a card reader and insert the card in the card reader.

when the card is detected it will show a removeable drive in My Computer. Right click on the removeable drive and click on properties....now click on the the tab which says Tools......now under error checking click on Check Now......now click both the option that is Automatically fix the system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.

After the scan is complete the card will work fine.

There are companies that claim to be able to retrieve deleted files on mem cards, if their space has not been written over by other pics taken sense, or a mem card FORMAT. Google it.

Your better approach may be to try to recover the files showing 3Meg size on your computer download. Sounds like mem card quit working correctly after first 100 photoes. Was this a name brand SD card like San Disk or Panasonic? Beware of off brand junk sold on ebay or other sites CHEAP. They are designed to report back the size they claim to be, but are 1/2 size capacity or less in reality. You never know until you need your photos. The other thing is SD cards fail and are never a good as a BackUp source for files. For file xfers only in general.

Good lesson for all is to be sure all your pics show up on your computer before deleting on camera.
