E1-F5 Code
SOURCE: Error code E1 -F5- Broil element comes on and wont shut off
I just did the self clean option and when it was done I received the error code E1 -F5- and it does have to do with the door latch. After turning off the power to the stove I was able to open the door and wiggled the latch and that solved the problem.......

SOURCE: f5 code on a kenmore range
Hi mrscottd,
The f5 indicates a loss of the relay drive circuit. To correct you can turn the power off to the range at the breaker box and wait about 10 minutes, then turn back on. This will reset the board. If the error returns you will need to replace the electronic range control (ERC). The part number for the control is # 338692 price $338.49 at Sears or My price $299.99 delivered. Good luck to you and please dont forget to rate me.

F1 E1, replace Electronic Range Control.
In other words, the controller board has failed.

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.
The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...
Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.
If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.
Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.
