If the card fits in the slot, then the board supports it. But you have to install the graphics card drivers.(and make sure you plug your monitor into the graphics card and not the computer motherboard connector.) The drivers will be on the cd that came with the card.

Do this beeping code for motherboard troubleshooting.
First disconnect all memory,external video card, etc only motherboard and power supply.
Then power on if you hear continuous beeping means the motherboard working good.
