My Bosch wfmc2100 continues to add time to the timer and when I place it in spin mode I hear pump come on and drain but it acts like its still agitating the clothes and never Ramps to speed.

Some times if you wash large and small items the washer cannot get the clothes balanced enough to go into high spin. The washer being out of level can also cause this problem. Another issue that can cause this is the drain fluff/filter is plugged a bit and wont let enough water to the drain pump fast enough and when the timer sees that there is still water in the drum it adds more time to allow for the water to be removed. front bottom access panel will get you into the fluff/filter to clean it out. Make sure to get all the threads clean of sand and debris and use light oil to replace the cap or you will break it trying to reseal it.

When washing dark clothes in the Cabrio washer I always have a white residue left on the clothes. I can get it off with a lint roller or tape but it is annoying. I use Woolite or Tide HE detergent. I...

We have the same problem with our BRAND NEW Cabrio - and those white dusty spots with our old washer were a major reason for getting a new washer. Very disappointing. I believe the white dust is also on light clothing but we can't see it.

Since most of the "answers" are obviusly wrong (we already use liquid detergent, already use the auto dispenser, and nothing is blocked because ti's BREAND NEW), we've taken to wiping down the washer basket before we run our clothes. It seems wasteful to run Afresh every week before we do laundry. But wiping out the drum with a cloth works.

Clothes come out with lint all over. i have to use a lint roller on my clothes.

Check the pockets of pants and make sure there is nothing in them ....Take a damp cloth and wipe out the inside of the drum to try to get excess lint out of it.... also run a short wash with no clothes in washer to see if it cleans the washer out certain clothes such as towels should also be washed by themselves ...........

Is there supposed to be a sediment type material, like sand, in the drainage pump area right after the big black hose that comes off the bottom of the washer?

No, that's an accumulation of sediment from your clothes and/or your water supply.

The good news is that you can simply lower the drain hose and flush out the sediment accumulation. Then you can run another wash cycle with some cold water and try to get as much out as possible. If you can, you can disconnect the discharge hose at the pump body and flush it out by hand.

The issue is to figure out if you're getting all that sand from the clothes being washed or from your water source.

Sand will hasten the wear and tear on most any machine, so unless this washer is at a beach house, where you tend to get alot of sand in washers, by the very nature of towels, etc., you'll want to address this problem.

If you're on a private water well, you would be well advised to install a whole house water filter to help minimize the amount of sediment you're getting into your washer. If you're at a beach house, try to shake out the towels and other clothes before putting them in the washer to get as much sand out of them as possible.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

I have an older front loading washer Frigidaire and it's now smelling like mold on all our clothes thought it was me leaving clothes in to long but it's not. model #FWT445GES2 serial #XC74463636 . I have...

No recall, Pour 2 cups of bleach into the washer, Wash on HOT water, long cycle. Then wipe seal with dry cloth. This will eliminate the mold smell... To stop it from coming back ALL front load washer doors MUST be left open to allow the rubber seal to dry, Just like you close your shower curtain so it doesn't get musty smelling... 2 hours is about the dry time... wiping the seal with a cloth usually helps too... All located in your owners manual/

Musty smell in washer and clothes.water remains in rubber gasket

Two thing that you might try: Add two or three cups of bleach and have the machine run a cycle (with no clothes!!!). Second, always leave the door open after use to let it air out. Also, it wouldn't hurt to use straight bleach as a wipe to the entire rubber tub seal.

Washer water level low, clothes come out dry !!

This is the water saver feature and the only solution may be to put it on the maximum wash cycle to get clothes really clean.
These washers normally get the clothes almost dry.
