My THOMPSON TV won't turn on!!

I'd look at bad LED backlights

Please describe the problem more accurately. Flashing red usually means 'stand-by' state, flashing blue/green - starting up. When (during that) do you have a sound? Are there any 'high voltage' sounds like soft screeching from the screen? Is it LCD or LED?

I have the same problem with my Trimble Juno SB. It just happened today. But when I plug mine in to a power source the LED is green. But when I hit the power button it flashes red one time. I have tried soft and hard resetting it. And I even tried the 'restore factory settings' reset. Nothing works, It just stays off. The screen never comes on.

Did no one else read the question? It isn't for a laptop. It is for a Trimble Juno SB.

The "LAMP" LED light indicator is on or flashing.The tv projection lamp life are ended.Tv require a new projection lamp.

Power LED flashes orange 1 x 5 secs. = 1 of 3 fans stopped. TEMP LED flashes 1 x 5 secs, = Temperature error. Lamp LED flashes 1 x 5 secs. = lamp ballast error. (check lamp 1st.)

I have a similar problem with Thomson 52JW643 S in that it takes at least 12 to 16 attempts before it eventually turns on very very annoying !!!!!!! turns from red to yellow to green then back to red and then same again until she feels like switching on then perfect picture sound and quality ??????? can any one advise please

Have you by any chance put it in "Timer Recording' Mode accidentally? Check this .

same problem. TV turns on but no picture or sound. when i press power button on the remote control orange light flashes for about a minute and goes back to red.

I'm sorry, I don't have a solution, but I seem to be having a similar problem. When I turn my TV on, the green light comes on like it's powered up, but then the TV turns itself back off and the red LED light flashes. I can't do anything to turn it on or anything.
