Correct pump for the truck?
A blown fuse means there is too much current draw from the pump.
Why is the tough question.Pinched wire?
If the fuse does not blow, immediately, can you measure the current draw at the pump in put wire?

Be SURE to cycle the key on for 5 seconds, off for 2 and back on for 5 seconds 3 times! Prime the pump.
If not primed, properly the new pump may burn out.
Sorry.

SOURCE: Will Not Start

It will not run without that fuse intact. There is a short in the circuit that must be fixed .

SOURCE: my 1991 toyota 4runner keeps blowing the efi fuse

Check the EFI main relay, the circuit opening relay, and the fuel pump relay. Inside the fuel pump relay there is a switch controlled by a coil. During start, the fuel pump gets full power for a couple of seconds to build up pressure. Once pressure is good, the fuel pump relay is supposed to switch (via the coil) the fuel pump to reduced power. If the coil in the relay is bad, the reduced power setting is not available and the fuel pump will run at full power all the time. At this heavy current draw, it won't be long until the EFI fuse blows. This would also give more pressure than is necessary to the cold start fuel injector which runs on a timer. This extra pressure during the time that the cold start injector is operating may be the reason the engine is flooding with fuel.

The fuse for my 2005 Toyota Corrola keeps blowing. I changed he fuel pump. If I disconnect the fuel pump plug going to the tanking and crank the engine it does not blow the fuse. Could it be the sendi

You have to inspect the fuel pump again if the fuel pump ok there is a short circuit between the relay to fuel pump the most you have to inspect is the wire inside the tank

1991 toyota 4runner keeps blowing efi fuse even changed fuel pump

That fuse powers the engine computer and various sensors.
You may need a repair book or shop manual to get the wiring diagrams for checking everything in the circuit.

Efi fuse keeps blowing

Hi,
This sounds like a short circuit to the fuel rail/fuel pump wiring. Disconnect the fuel pump and see if the short has gone. If it is then you need to replace the fuel pump. Check the fuel injector wiring and disconnect this wiring , if the short has gone then one of your injectors is faulty.
In most case's it will be the fuel pump or the wiring in the engine bay, have these checked.
Hope this helps

EFI fuse blowing in 93 toyota 4runner

I would check the fuel pump relay under the dash in the passenger side and check the efi relay first. After that i would follow the wires to the fuel pump and the engine harness for any shorts.

1990 toyota pickup 3.0 v6,engine will not start, keep blowing efi fuse

You need to look for a short in the engine harness, anywhere that the harness rubs on engine componets etc. In the past 30 years of car work this is where the problem most often occurs.
