I want to reinstall my acer utilities

Look around the C:\>program files and find all the folders related to mywinlocker.
Thereafter, you've to reinstall mywinlocker as it's already installed but couldn't able to start your program due to of installing reinstalling Windows.

Hi! Just head over to this page and select the "Synaptics Pointing Driver" under Drivers and Utilities for Windows Vista. It seems Acer doesnt provide drivers for Windows 7 (possibly because the laptop does not come with it pre-installed) however the Vista ones should work fine. As this is a reinstall, I suggest downloading and installing all the software, at least all of the ones under Drivers and Utilities to ensure that all of your notebook's features function properly.

acer does not provide xp drivers for this laptop.

Follow that link and you will find the drivers for your orbicam att the bottom of the list under the "EMPOWERING TECHNOLOGY AND UTILITIES"

Download the drivers and install them

its visto computer only way to downgrade it to xp is to look for your drivers used in vista from manufacturers site to collect xp drivers. do get the drivers names u can use the acer download page to see what drivers for xp is needed.

The issue is that several of the Acer software products don't support Vista. You need to remove these programs.

Alternately (not recommended) you can change your settings with the following method. I would recommend removing all the Acer software though as keeping them might cause problems.

Check under Advanced Power Options-> Multimedia Setting -> When Sharing Media. By default onBattery and Plugged is set to "Allow the computer to enter AwayMode" Changing this setting to "Allow Computer to sleep" should solve theproblem. On Battery the Away Mode "does" allow the computer to sleepproperly.

Hello,

most probably you have a cd utilities enclosed in your pc. You have to insert the cd and then install the driver for the orbicam . hope this will work.
