Coronamatic 2500

You can try reversing the connecting wire to the type bar or making one out of a heavy paper clip. You will probably have to remove the pivot wire in the segment to reattach.

HP J4580 WILL NOT ACCEPT REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGE

First check and make sure you are installing the correct cartridge. Many look the same but are not interchangable. If the cartridge is correct use an alcohol wipe and gently wipe the contacts in printer and on cartridge. Allow to air dry and recheck that is all that is normally needed. But cleanliness and correct cartridges are very critical damage can be caused by trying to force a wrong cartridge in.

Black & colour cartridge lights are flashing and error code 2

When the black and color cartridge lights are flashing this means that there is an ink cartridge error. To solve this issue, you need reseat the ink cartrdige. If this does not correct your issue, you will unfortunately need to replace the ink cartridge. Make sure you are not forcing the ink cartridge into the printer as it can damage it.

J3 error On Xerox WorkCentre Pro - 215

A J3 means the toner cartridge is not compatible. That is the what the J3 message means.
Make sure the correct cartridge has been installed. For example, a Pro16 Toner Cartridge looks very similar and will fit in the machine, but it will display a J3 fault. Install a known correct Toner Cartridge if you suspect the cartridge in the machine is the problem. If the wrong Toner Cartridge has been used, the correct cartridge needs to be ordered and installed in the machine
It is possible the chip on the back of the cartridge is bad. Have you tried reseating the cartridge? Maybe it is just loose.

Trouble with new cartridge

Sounds like the cartridge is not correctly seated. Try taking out the cartridge, check that it is the correct one for your printer. Then re-insert it. There should be a positive click when it is correctly seated. You can check the 'feel' of this if you still have the old cartridge. You need to be firm, but not rough. Some printers/cartridges are quite stiff. You may need to align the cartridge after re-inserting it. Check the display on the printer and be sure to do the test print if offered. There may also be pop-up instructions on your computer.

Good Luck
