Hi its Darran at Dyson.

Make sure that the brush control dial on the cleaner head is in the correct position for use on carpets. It should be in the centre position when in the upright mode and then when the head is released into the cleaning mode, the dial should move forward to the on position.

Same problem here. We noticed a loss of suction for about 5 minutes and the suction stopped. Beater bar still rotates but ZERO suction.

Hi its Darran at Dyson.

Simply switch the machine off and stand it upright. Press the brush bar on/off switch once and then turn the machine back on.

When you release the machine into the vacuuming position, the brush bar should start to turn again.

its either the power head is clogged up with debree or the belt is broken. if the belt is broken it wont wisp everything up. Take it to a shop to fix. DONT TRY TO FIX IT YOURSELF~!!! dysons are very expensive and arent made to just be taken apart
