I replaced the fkyback transformer on my RCA32v434t and I have sound and picture now but the TV shuts off right after I turn it on. Can anyone tell me if I did something wrong or if something needs to be adjusted?

the flyback transformer or the Box cap CL031 is arching and will need replacement the flyback is most likley of the two. You can get flyback transformer with instructions from www.tvrepairworld.com
Sounds like the flyback transformer. You can get a replacement flyback from www.tvrepairworld.com and assistance to help you identify if the flyback is the issue

Hello, The Horizontal Output transistor needs to be changed as it is most likely shorted. The current transistor on this set is a 2SD3402 (no longer available) it's new replacement part number is the 2SC5902. Order 2 2SC5902 Horiz Output transistors.Replace the transistor by it self once and if all is ok then fine. If not replace it again and also the the Flyback HV transformer. The HOT transistor is probably shorted again and the transformer is causing it.
my first instinct in this is flyback transformer. or if it is three tube projector could be a high voltage splitter lines in picture sound like what is called retrace lines ... this is another indication of a possible bad flyback. high pitch sound is another sypmpton of a high voltage flyback transformer problem. WARNING televisions generate potental lethal charge. the device called flyback is used to generate several THOSAND volts. so be carefull if you take the back of any television. along with the flyback the horizontal output transistor possible could have failed. What type of tv is it? model
I would try resoldering the flyback connections on the Circuit board. if the flyback was defective it would operate and you usually get 3 blinks on the LED indicator. Sounds more like a solder issue.
