Help! my Pc has a critical problem . the problem is that when I boot the screen goes black and the worst part is I can do nothing . PLS HELP!

try booting up in safe mode

OK, best case scenario is your hard drive is corrupt, worst case, hard drive is dead.

What to do - you could download the hirens boot cd and see if you can rejuvenate the hard drive firstly by going into mini windows and check if you can see the C: drive in windows explorer, if you can thern running chkdsk c: /f might sort it for you.

There are other utilities in the hirens disc that could help but that's where I'd start.

If you're not confident doing this then you might need to take it to your local pc engineer.

if you can get hold of a windows disc try booting from that and using the repair option.

sounds like a bad power cord- make certain you have power coming from your ac adapter- the reason you see a black screen is that your system has a critically low battery. get a good charger, should be able to work from there.

On my Windows 7 laptop, I got problem of Black Screen of Death, Windows Boot Genius fix the problem without data loss! I vote it!

try to boot in safe mode.To do that.
restart your computer continues press F8 key it will show the option select safe mode
and you can work with that and change the reasoluition and restart the computer work with normal mode..

maybe a hardware problem, on booting the pc, move the screen to every angle to see if there is a connection problem.
If so, then use your warranty if you have one.

In safe mode try pressing ctrl+alt+del, then go to task manager-->applications-->New task, then type: explorer.exe Now your desktop should appear. you could also try running: msconfig In the same way, and see wether explorer.exe is still in the startup. ok after you have booted in safe mode do a restore to a date just before the last day it worked properly and try that restore is found here
