I am using nokia 2700 classic mobile, some times it shows no sim card available in display. so i switch off my mobile to switch on means it shows Start up phone without simcard?
You phone fails to recognize, the a look at this causes, might 1 of the problem is listed below.
(solutions are already indicated).
* your simcard might be corroded and need to be clean using a pencil eraser. * simcard socket lock might be losen and need to bend a little bit downward to reach the contact of the simcard. * simcard reader or terminal pins is dislocated and not properly align, need to fix in proportion or re-aligning. * simcard reader or terminal and its pin is corroded and need to be clean using any rust solution and a cotton.
If the above method does not work, simcard IC might be damage and need a parts replacement,by this time, you need to bring it to the service center to fix this problem.
It's because of Network Lock,It locked to Vodafone Network,You need to Unlock it to work in other Network,You can get the Unlock code and instructions at here http://www.onlinegsmunlock.com/nokia-e63/rs7wp9/ and Unlock it.
Hi, Haven't you tried to clean your simcard, with a sweet peace of tissue? Try to clean the interior of your phone with air, be sure that the simcard is inside the phone without any dust. Sorry for my little porr english :)
Hi. Open your phonebook, press "Options" then scroll down to "Mark/Unmark" then press right navigation key and select "Mark All". Press "Options" again, scroll down to "Copy", press right navigation key, then select "To SIM Directory".
This is happening because when the Sim card is not inserted you cannot access the menu of the phone some nokia phones(including yours) are built that way.
Some nokia phones do not need a sim card for you to access the phone menu (e.g 5130,5230), while you can only view the demo of some nokia phones (e.g 1208, 1600) without a sim card
