If the printer says out of paper try to reset the printer is this does not help
then its hardware failure on the printer ,,you can try this steps:
1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button.
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck un

My HP photosmart C1580 doesnt print

Hi:
Check the paper input well on the printer there might be some forgien object blocking the paper pickup rollers, especially if you have small children around they like to stik objects into the well, or maybe a paper clip or penny is lodged in the unit you might want to remove all paper and turn the printer towards the ground and shake gently to see if anything falls out.
Also open the paper jamm on the back of the printer to make sure no peices of paper is stuck.

The kodak gloss paper gets jammed in my hp photosmart 7350 printer towards the end of printing photos

You have an HP printer. I highly recommend you use HP photo paper for the best results. This may not solve your jamming problem but it may. HP printers are very touchy as to what photo paper you use.

Need to clean hp photosmart 7350 cartridge head

You can try manual cleaning :

# Hold the cartridge upside down, with the bar-code label facing you and take a damp paper towel.
# Use the towel to wipe the printhead of the cartridge on the bottom (where the ink comes out). Wipe the printhead horizontally in one direction only (left to right).
# Continue doing this until it looks clean.
# Then dab the cartridge on the towel to make sure the ink is flowing.
# Next, look inside the printer and locate the carrier that holds ink cartridges. Caution: Make sure the cartridges are not installed at this point.

1. Look for a shiny piece of metal underneath the contacts at the back of the carrier.
2. Take a damp cotton swab (use water only!) and wipe along the bottom of the shiny metal piece. Note: You may need more than one swab.

# Reinstall the cartridges, making sure you snap them correctly into the printer.

Hp photosmart printer 7350

Turen the machine off
Unplug it from the wall
open the paper jam door and gently push the paper roller upward until it clicks.
close the door.
Plug it back in
Wait a few minutes
then turn the printer on and see if the carriage moves.

This is a simple general reset of theprinter and sometimes it will help with this sort of problem. Let me know if it helps or not.
