HI there press the meny button, then select date & time option. After that adjust the date & time. Now save the settings & use it.Thanks & waiting for your feedback.
Navigate the menus in the camera. One of them gives you the option to use the time/date stamp or not. Remember, each different menu section gives you multiple areas that you can adjust and change settings.
The S700 doesn't have a date print function (so that the date appears on the image). Are you printing yourself, or having a lab print the photos for you? Some inkjet (home) printers can print the date on the image or on the border. Many labs (my Fuji Frontier digital lab, for instance) can print the date on the print for you, as the data is contained in the file data. Ask at the lab counter. They also shouldn't charge for this service, as it's a one-button operation.
The flash on my S700 stopped popping up too. But I made a spring about 3/4 inch in diameter by 3/4 inch high with about 1 3/4 loops. I glued it right under the flash. It works quite well now.
FIRST , go to MENU of camera and look for SETTINGS , DATE & TIME , if you dont see this option then refer to the camera manual to see if you have this option, some camras have this feature and some of them dont , hope this helps AJ
