Sounds like something in the control module. I have 2. One bought used about a year old. Lasted about 3 months and something in the control module or panel died so would not light or power up. I hard wired the blower and Infrared bulbs to manual switches so I can manually turn on and off heat. Have separate switches so can leave the fan blowing after turning off the elements to allow them to cool. The other heater was bought new and laster about a year and a half. Then the thermostat reading worked and fan worked cycling as should but elements would not light. Did a factory reset holding power button while plugging in. That fixed it for a day then back to same. took back off and while trying to trouble shoot voltages on the power supply module the elements started working again. Not sure what the issue but seems to be a definite issue with short lived control modules. To date have not found a resource to buy new control boards or other replacement parts besides bulbs which with the fans seem to be the most durable part of the whole heater.

Or you need anitfreeze.
Or your thermostat is shot. Both are easy fixes.
Try the antifreeze, first, check and top off.

and if teh problem persists, check and repalce the thermostat.

Duraflame Heaters won't blow?

Question edited for clarity and translated into written English :>D
Question recategorized from Laundry Dryers to a Duraflame one.

It could be the blower.
It could be the thermostat.
It could be the element.

It needs testing by an appliance electrician. If you have a multimeter and the skill, you could do preliminary testing yourself.

Also, they make many models of heater. You could Google

Duraflame (model) no heat no fan.

'Dura Flame' all one word, I corrected that too.

Why does it just blow cold air?

it blows cold air because the flame hasnt ignited. You are having an ignition problem due to either an unsatisfied pressure swith and a burned igniter. Have a look in the burner ports for the entire cycle and look to see if you can see e bright orange glow. if you dont see it, check your venting for blockage and also maybe the condensate drain tube for blockage

Duraflame heater runs for 5 mins and shuts off

try cleaning off the filter that is on the bottom in the back of the unit. It is a fail safe sensor that in the event the unot overheats it shuts off the heater. Worked for me on mine.
