I lost the installation software for this and all the drivers I find when searching are for the USB though that is not how they are labeled. I tried them anyway and they do not work. can someone help? The gigfast website is useless. IEEE 802.11

its for all window versions thru vista
First uninstall any drivers associated with the wireless card, and shutdown your machine , unplug and remove the card. you usally need to install the software before installing the card. here is a link to your driver, its for all widows versions thru vista. http://members.driverguide.com/driver/de... if you have to sign up , and you don't want to email me , and ill email it to you

Stockviper, I appreciate the help but that was the same one downloaded which did not match the description. I unistalled all the drivers, removed the card then found the driver by searching the actual developer and not the manufacturer. That driver did work when I installed it and I got it up and running again. I decided however as I had gotten the first one dirt cheap on ebay and did not want to deal with any support issues in the future to run down to my local computing center and pick up a name brand with reputable tech support and install that one in it's place. Everything went super smooth and the connection is steady (better than before) and appears to have better range.
Thank you both for your time, I now know more than I did and would have an easier time troubleshooting it in the future. This is a great site.
