Froze, battery wore, charged it, n still wont come on
I have the Creative Zen:Vision M and it froze on my brother so I tried turning it off, nothing happened. Ten min later the thing came up "trying to shut down" but it didn't so I just waited till it died the next day. Now I am trying to charge it and I still can't turn it on or anything. The blue light where the on off switch is, is blinking blue... but I still can't turn it on. My brother had it before this happened and he tends to rewind on a song a lot, but other than that I can't see what else he could have done to it to of broken it.

Have you tried updating the firmware of your Zen V Plus? I've had mine for almost an year and haven't had these issues -- I updated the firmware as soon as I unpacked it.
try downloading the MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.
By the way, before updating the firmware, let the battery have a full charge, ok?
I hope it won't keep freezing on you after the update.

If your Zen V is dead, wont respond to anything, try this, plug it in to the computer, hold the power switch in the on position, THEN trigger the reset button, worked like a charm for mine, I had thought it a lost cause." Apologies if this answer is offensively obvious. Try putting a paperclip or equally small object into the little reset hole at the bottom of the player if you haven't done so already. Mine froze a couple of times and it always worked.
