Hello, we have had our pixma mp780 printer for 2 years and happily there have been no problems. However now we now cannot print as the printer does not recognise that we have paper loaded. I have tried using varying amounts of sheets but when we try to copy or print it just says that we need to 'load paper' when it is already loaded. Most confusing.
Any help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance.
Had this problem yesterday, then after downloading the manual you need to
switch feed (left hand side). There are two feeders in the rear and pull out tray
at front, very bottom.

Check your Feed Switch button, located to the left of the orange LCD screen. This printer can take paper from the front cassette and from a flip-dwon tray in the rear. The rear tray is most often used for one-of-a-kind paper such as letterheads, labels or photo paper. It is real easy to inadvertently hit the Feed Switch, at which point your unit may be expecting for you to load paper from the rear (or vice versa.)

Thanks very much for your response. We have been away so sorry for the delay. Could you give me a little more detail, do I need to replace the feed? I'm not sure how to move the feed to the left side and if I need to do this at both the back and bottom?
