The red light turns off on the timer unit, but the boiler keeps going. Thanks for the informative post.

Do you need a 1300 number?

If aquastat wirings are ok, and control module had been set up properly, the the furnace should start.
Check if bypassing the control the furnace starts, if it starts then check aquastat wirings.
If it depends on the furnace, check the valve, the safety sensor and the ignitor.

Check transformer near on on boiler circuit board. the transformer provides a low voltage power source to operate some thermostats and relays at the furnance control board. May need new transformer also check wiring to thermostat

Vaillant Ecotec boiler. Central Heating will not turn on. Water heating is ok. Error code S.30 is being reported. New batteries in remote ccontroller, receiver has green light. No other discernible issues.

no heat demand from external controls clamp 3-4open ,its on the error codes in the hand book or you can down load one from there web site

I have a honeywell cm927 control unit, and the red light on the receiver keeps flashing. i can manually turn the boiler on and off at the HC6ONG receiver. i've tried the faqs in the manual but to no joy....

The red flashing light means that there is an issues with the RF comms between control unit and receiver. You can reset by switching the boiler off and back on and then re-sending the temperature signal. You need to check batteries in you thermostat and also the position as the signal could be interfered with or it may be too far away from the receiver.

CM67NG Programmable Thermostat- Green light on Relay Box is on but red light is now constantly flashing-and boiler won't fire. Brand new batteries in thermostat. Any advice please

I was playin on my ps3 all today working good but when i get in, i put internet cable plug it in my ps3 port, the green light not flashin at all, & its nt workin & me modem not flashing, so whats up w

its a problem in your internet-router. try to reset it, and plug it into the back of your ps3, then you should be able to do something with it

Red LED on honeywell r6660d

The problem is that the 2 units are "not speaking to each other". this could be caused by low batteries or a loss in signal caused by a powercut or an objection in the way of the 2 units.

first you need to turn the power off to the r666od (or otherwise known as the HC60NG) for 10 secs, then turn back on. then hold the grey button in for 15 secs. release then hold in for a further 5 secs.

go to the honeywell cm61 press the off button. hold temp up. temp down and prog 1 in for 3 secs until the dipslay goes to INST. at this point release all 3 buttons then press the i button until a beacon starts flashing.

this is now the end to your problem.

N.B the reason the green light was on is because the man override button will have been pressed.

What's happened here is the cm61 ng and the reciver box have lost there connection you will have to "rebind" them then it will be fine -

THE BINDING OPERATION DESCRIBED BELOW IS REQUIRED IF:

· Any of the system components (room unit or relay box) are replaced

· HC60NG has incorrect or no binding data stored (e.g. when pre-bound system pack components have been mismatched)

· Interference with the RF signal has caused a communication failure

During the binding procedure keep approximately 1m distance between the room unit and the HC60NG

1 Turn off mains supply to HC60NG for 10 seconds. Re-connect supply.

2 Press and hold the HC60NG push button for 15 seconds to reset previously stored data. The red LED will start to flash at 0.1 s on/0.9 s off. Release the push button.

3 Press and hold the HC60NG push button for 5 seconds to enter the binding mode. Red LED flashing at 0.5 s on/0.5 off confirms the binding mode has been entered.

4 Move the CM67NG slider to the OFF position (CM61 push the OFF button) and press the TEMP , TEMP ‚ and PROG 1 buttons together. The CM61/67NG will display InSt.

5 Press the i button to send the binding signal. The red LED is switched off on the receiver box to confirm the successful binding operation. If the red light still flashes push the repeat steps 1-3 and press the the i button until binding is successful.

sorry step 4: CM61 push the OFF button and then press the TEMP UP ARROW, TEMP DOWN ARROW‚ and PROG 1 buttons together. The CM61will display InSt.

After Step 5 above press the Auto button on the CM61 and then press TEMP up button to a temperature at least 1 degree above the room temperature which will bring on the flame indicator in the display window. Aprox 2 seconds later you will hear a click on the HC60NG box, and the green light will display only. If your boiler controls are set to the on position, the heating will then come on.

Have done this several times but green light will not come on. When i press button the green light clicks on but goes straight off.
