I am not familiar with this particular lighter, however, changing flints isn't usually difficult. Could you post a photo of the underside of the lighter? Try turning the lighter upside down. There should be two sections moulded in the bottom of the lighter. One is the refill port you use to fill it with gas, the other will be the adjuster or mount for the flint. The flint holder is usually a Spring loaded tube with the flint mounted at the top end. Carefully unwind the screw or twist cap being careful the spring doesn't suddenly release. This should slide out letting the remains of the old flint fall out. You may need to GENTLY tap the lighter to knock out any dust left by the old flint. Insert the new flint, insert the retaining pin and screw it in until it is finger tight. Screw too tight and you could crush the new flint or damage the screw thread on the retaining pin.

First check your fuses. If that isn't the problem try this: take a small flat head screw driver and gently bend the two prongs out a little bit. They are used to hold the lighter in place so that it will operate properly. If your lighter works with the key off remove the fuse first. As for replacing the lighter there are two wires connected on the back side you'll need to remove them. On some lighters you will have to unscrew the outer body to remove the lighter others have a nut that has to be removed. Access to the back side of the lighter is always a pain and how you gain access depends on the make, model and year. I hope this helps you.
Do not use any chemicals. They will damage your watch. The only thing you can use is ZIPPO, RONSON e.t.c. lighter fluid, but do not dip any watch parts in it. You have to use cotton swabs. Dip the swab in lighter fluid and then clean the parts. Do not use a lot of pressure. Change the swabs constantly and blow off excess of lighter fluid all the time. It will take a while, but this is the best solution. When part is clean enough, use dry cotton swabs to clean off the oily residue.

I have a Dunhill Rollalite petro lighter and the wick is barely protruding out of the nipple / port. Everything thing I've read states to use tweezers to extend it but how is it done when there's nothing to crab? Are the wick replaceable and if so how is it done port how to extend it? Thanks
All rechargeable lighters have a refilling nozzle (usually at the bottom of lighter). All the good quality gas refill cans have the nozzle adapters inside sovering cup. Brake off the nozzle adapters off the cup and try to fit them onto lighters refilling nozzle. When found the best fit adapter, put it onto gas refill cans nozzle and holding the lighter and can upside down connect all nozzles together and push together. As these nozzles are made for mass production lighters, tey do not fit perfect and some gas leak will occure. Anyway- few seconds will be enough to refill any lighter. In case if your lighter do not refill by explained action, the refill nozzle in your lighter is damaged or faulty. Hope it does help.
