Are you using the correct media? CD-R Music Type is required. If your media does not specify Music it will play the disc but recording is disabled due to RIAA copyright laws. These special disc have a percentage of the sale to cover any compilation disc which are generated from these stand alone CD Recorders. They also contain a special buffer which enables recording on the machine. Also you may try different brands of CD-R Music media, find which makes less coasters (failed to burn CD's) and stick to that type. These are common places to start, be more specific if this doesn't help. JY

Pyle plttb3u record player what is the replacement stylus? what cartridge does it have? my stylus has worn out AND I need to replace it contacted PYLE by email but they have not returned my email


Cast your eye on it and LOOK to see what cartridge it has. Then Google a replacement stylus. OR, if it's some no-name pos (which they don't actually name in the specs) get a whole new cartridge of your own choice.
