I ned code for Kenwood RC-dv340

The remote is nothing more than a device to change the contents display face. The code for the unit is embedded into the unit behind it, so the old code will work. It will not even notice you changed the remote control. If you bought a remote control for a different Kenwood audio, then it is a lottery. You can program a bespoke remote, they are set to one device, or a range of devices sharing the same code.

RC-R0620 is the remote control model number (RC-R0622 in U.K./EU) you can buy on eBay or amazon A universal remote may work but only if the universal has codes for your Kenwood. Check first.

LG DV340 Region free hack for the model I bought at Game is below:
1, power on the player with no disk in the drive
2, pres pause on the remote
3, enter “314159′ on the remote
4, enter “0′ on the remote (0 = all regions, 1 = region 1 etc)
5, press pause on the remote
6, power the player off and then back.
Hopefully this helps someone else!

It appears that Kenwood does not have that manual for download. They do, however, have a recent manual that includes their code chart. I think, but do not know, that the code charts are the same. Please download this manual and see if the codes work for you:
