Hi friends,

Here is a link to a zipped folder with the cameramate drivers that you may install manually using the Windows hardware wizard. I included a READ ME FIRST text file with instructions if you need guidance. Give thanks and share. If you have questions, let me know.

Software download

You can get the Vivitar software here by clicking on the "Vivitar Experience Software" link.
You don't need the Vivitar software. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

Vaio 497xp upgrade to windows 7 lost wireless capability

If you have internet, then just right click "Computer" icon on desktop, select 'manage' and then select 'device manager' in the "Computer Management" screen. Check for any entries with '!' or'?'. Most probably your 'wireless hardware' will have such a mark beside it. Right click on that entry select 'update driver software'. If you would have had a driver cd of your laptop, then you could have used 'Browse my computer for driver software', whereas in this case use 'Search automatically for updated driver software'. Your computer will search the internet for most appropriate drivers and install it. Hope this will help you out.

HOW TO OPEN TO INSERT CD INTO DLINK ROUTER

Hi,
The DVD/cd-rom that comes with the router is so you can setup software on one or more of your computers to manage the router.
So you will place it in the cdrom drive of one of your computers that is hard wired to the router (cable should have also been provided) this allows you to setup things like wireless with security and password protection of the router itself.
Although it isn't the only way to set it up. It is most of the times simpler to configure the router with their software.

I got a new computer and don't have the software for my nikon coolpix s230 camera, so I can't download my pictures. How can I do that without the software?

You can download the current versions of all (free) Nikon software here.
You don't need any special software.

Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Nikon Transfer, iPhoto, and Windows Photo Gallery.
