This is usually ground problem. check ground wire

Might be because the battery in your car is low. Also, check to make sure that your amplifier is working properly and that the cables are all plugged in tightly.

Wheres the loud button

If you press and hold the aud button for a few seconds it should take you to the audio menu. If you scroll through it you should be able to turn loudness off and on.

1:- Select Clock Adjustment mode Press the top or bottom side of the Control knob. Select the "ClK ADJ"/ "ClCK" display. 2:- Enter Clock Adjust mode. Press the centre of the Control knob for at least 1 second. The clock display blinks. 3:- Adjust the hours. Press the top or bottom side of the Control knob. Adjust the minutes Press the right or left side of the Control knob. 4:- Exit Clock adjustment mode, Press the [B.BOOST] button.

Kenwood kdc-mp208 stuck in ''protect'' mode....

Protect indicates that there is a short or a grounding problem usually within the speakers2_bing.gif or the speaker wiring. Locate and press the reset button (pinhole). If protect comes back then disconnect all speakers, reset and connect them back one at a time until protect shows up again. This will help you find out where the unwanted DC signal is coming from. If protect shows up when all speakers are disconnected, then it may need service.

There is a good chance that your car has a factory amplified system, it may say premium on the speaker covers if it does. Check to see if you hooked up the bue and blue white wires in the adaptor harness. The blue wires in the adaptor harnesses are to turn on the factory amp.
