Canon w6200 printhead error

Replace the print head.

Just check your printedhead that could be not inserted properly of just clean the printerhead with a piece of cotton with alcohol then insert it back to the printer after you clean it. Then try to print if the problem are not solve just replace the printerhead.

it is a logic card problem. so pls checked it from printer service center.

You either need a new print head or if you have one, it should have came with a cd. On that disk it the latest and greatest software that the machine needs in order to recognize the new print head

HOW DID YOU PUT IT IN SERVICE MODE?

I have Vista 64bit-I downloaded the Windows XP-64 W6400 driver and it works wonderful on my Vista System. Don't grab the one that requires Autocad to work-scroll further down and you'll see the driver. Check Canon Website.

To reset the 'MT CARTRIDGE FULL SOON' error.
Enter Service mode Hold down the paper source and online button at the same time, hit the power button once.Continue to hold down the paper and online buttons until you see the printer name "Canon W6200" on the printers LCD display, then release the two buttons.The printer will initialize & enter service mode.
In service mode, scroll sideways until you see the 'Initialize' menu, scroll down to 'W-ink', and press enter. At this point I did something (scroll sideways and hit enter I think) and it came up with 'New W-ink Cart' Hit Enter to get '=New W-ink Cart' and Online to Accept. I powered down and back up, error all clear.

Check the wiring assemble connecting the printhead to the printer and where the wiring connects to the printer. Anything loose here would prevent the unit from correctly reading the sensors on the printhead. Just a thought.
