I know the arms are rotating, I have run the dishwasher with no soap or dishes several times. There is not enough water pressure to clean the dishes. I have added more water after the cycle started to see if the water level would make a difference in the pressure, it did not. The rotating arms (both) where removed and cleaned to ensure the water would flow. I have run the dishwasher with vinegar and other solutions to see if I could unclog lines with no luck. I have rigged the door so I could watch process while open, it is definately the pressure from the pump, there is there a possiblity of a line being clogged causing this, (yes I got wet, but not too since the pressure is low).
This washer worked well for several years before. I do notice that the dishwasher 'cube' did not always disolve. The glasses come out white and dirty now, with grit.
How do I unclogg lines on the Bosch builtin dishwasher?
How do I get to the pump? Does it need replacing or repair or adjusting?
Replace the pump, if you go through the trouble of repairing the pump and all the disassembly and then more problems will probably ensue. As far as location it is usually located under the washer. Accessed through the front service panel. Make sure you follow all safety procedures #1 being unplug the washer or turn off breaker prior to proceeding.
Hi
If you
are noticing that the dishes are not clean, then there are a few things to
check for. Check the soap powder if it's kept in a dry environment. Also try
replacing the powder with something like a gel or liquid. Next thing to check
for is the water pressure and fill valve. Check if the water is filling in and
the spray arms are throwing the water with enough pressure. Try and listen to
the sound if you hear a proper spraying action sound.
If it
seems as a low water pressure then check the fill valve. Now, check if
dishwasher is draining the water or not. While the dishwasher is working check
whether the dishwasher is draining and there is not much left out water after
the cycle is complete. Try cleaning the spray arm with a soft brush. The water
temperature plays a major role in cleaning of dishes. The temp should be
between 125 and 150 F for dishwasher to clean the dishes. Hope this helps...
