Hi im am tying to put so led indicators on my 1998 honda xlr125r they do not flas at the right speed do u know what sort of relay i would need and wher i can locate the 1 thats on ther now thanks 4 looking

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

The reason that the flashing speed of LED indicators are faster/different from the standard bulbs is because the original flasher were designed for the current flow of bulb types. A LED type indicator offers very low resistance and consumer very little current hence the original flasher fails to operated correctly.

Your idea of changing the flasher relay is correct. Electronic/LED flashers are available here, here and/or here.

Bike cutting out

Do you have the kickstand up when you put it in gear? Many bikes have a lockout on the side stand to prevent you riding away with the stand down. Kills the engine instantly when placed in gear with the stand down.
